With advancements in deep
learning technology, the ways to utilize CCTV video analysis data have
diversified, and demand has grown. However, as the volume of real-time
video that central servers need to process has increased, limitations in
network bandwidth and slow response times have posed challenges. EdgeDX
addresses these issues with edge computing technology, helping
customers use CCTV footage more effectively to solve real-world problems
and increase business value.
EdgeDX’s "AI Bridge" is a
third-generation crowd-sourcing product that integrates edge computing
technology, including edge analytics algorithms and software
optimization.
The solution can receive up to 16 video feeds from
on-site CCTVs and perform over 30 types of video analyses, including
fall detection, threat situation detection, and measuring interest in
displayed products. The results of real-time analysis can be sent to a
Video Monitoring System (VMS) or external mobile or web servers,
accompanied by snapshot images at the time of an incident.
With
real-time pose estimation technology, it can track key body points—such
as gaze, hands, feet, and shoulders—enabling detailed behavior analysis.
It combines multiple levels of deep learning analysis with vision
recognition technology to reduce false alarms while maintaining strong
object detection.
Additionally, by using AI semiconductors for
autonomous vehicles, the device operates reliably in extreme
temperatures, from -30°C to 70°C, and consumes less than 16 watts,
allowing for easy indoor or outdoor installation without a dedicated
server room.
The device has a variety of built-in I/O ports,
enabling integration with different sensors or control devices, and
allows direct editing of communication messages, such as HTTP or TCP,
without additional coding. This makes it easy to connect with
traditional security systems, as well as external web or mobile
services.
A cloud-based software and API for remote management of
multiple AI Bridge devices offer both the advantages of edge computing
and the convenience of cloud computing.
The video analysis
performance and product stability of AI Bridge have been proven abroad.
Currently, over 90% of sales occur internationally, including in Europe
and the U.S., where it is used in diverse applications such as alarm
monitoring centers, construction sites, large-scale farms, and retail
stores.
